Steve Chabot (R) Westwood Continues Campaign Against Cincinnati

Steve Chabot entered an amendment to a US Transportation bill blocking funding specifically for Cincinnati light rail. In not pursuing light rail in general he shows his petty political vindictiveness and in citing that monies need to be spent on long term job growth he shows his ignorance or is just plain lying. The transportation bill as it stands will likely only promote short term boondoggle road building whereas Cincinnati's streetcar is aimed at long term job growth and curbing blight.
