"Khazir and Ghazala Khan lost their son so we could live free," said Young. "Their son is a military hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Their story is a testament to the contributions Americans of all faiths can make to our country. Donald Trump was wrong to attack the Khan family."
"It is the job of a Congressperson to represent the best in America, to speak up for American values, and to demand civility in our public discourse. I understand that Mr. Trump is Chabot's preferred Presidential candidate. But as a patriot, he must set politics aside and do the right thing. I will not allow petty politics to get in the way of doing my job," said Young."
